After that, the track will still be available to drive, albeit only in races.

The stadium will only temporarily take the form of the oval in the free road mode for the duration of the High Performance festival playlist starting 27 April.

But this marks the first time that the Horizon series features a racetrack on its map. The Forza Horizon games are the open-road equivalent to the track-based Forza Motorsport games. It will take the form of a short oval track. The Horizon Stadium which currently acts as a stunt park, will get a total overhaul.

Stadium OvalPerhaps the biggest headline in the High Performance update is the addition of a racetrack. Many more feature as rewards in the playlist as well. If they get 160 points, they get to drive the McLaren F1. If a player earns 80 points over the entire playlist, they can drive the Ferrari 599XX. It seems Forza Horizon 5 is in very good shape, right now.Whilst all these cars are earned by collecting 20 points in each week of the series, further cars can be acquired through collecting points. How long will we continue to see new cars be added to the game? Either way, the game's post-launch support has been very strong, and the car list continues to expand at a healthy pace. It'll be interesting to see how Forza Horizon 5 continues to keep players interested moving forward, now that both DLC expansions are released. Still, at least it'll always be available as a racetrack, which should make players happy. I wish it could be made a permanent addition to the map, but that would mean sacrificing the Stadium and Playground Games may have other plans for it in the future. The Horizon Oval Circuit, particularly, is something players have been requesting since the game launched, so it's great to finally see it added.

Windows Central's takeįorza Horizon 5 has been looking good with the last few updates, and Series 20 "High Performance" is no exception. FH5 isn't done, however, as it'll undoubtedly get a lot more iterative Series updates moving forward. In case you missed it, Forza Horizon 5: Rally Adventure recently released with a ton of fresh content for players to explore, fulfilling Playground Games' promise to release two DLC expansions for the game during its lifetime.
